SCPL duly acknowledging this fact, kept connectivity as a central issue and built the CFS around it.The Freight Station consequently is today well connected with the Mundra port, as well as, vital rail and road movement facilities to ensure quick to and fro movement of consignments.

IT Initiatives
A vital facet of the SCPL CFS global perspective, has been the creation and installation of an advanced information system. This world-class, state of the art IT setup will play an important role in the CFS to improve efficiency, minimise paperwork, eliminate errors and most importantly, provide a Web Enabled service to customers.

The infrastructure will have a Dedicated Customs EDI Centre for processing of all types of Shipping Bills / Bills of Entry. A dedicated connectivity with Customs and a round the clock guaranteed up-time is also assured. The facility will also have an On line Cargo / Container tracking facility. The entire operation will happen in real time, leading to enhanced turnaround times.

Support Infrastructure
To bring added convenience to its clients the SCPL CFS will offer Office Space on Lease for valued customers. These spaces will come completely equipped with every modern office automation systems like a Photocopier, Telecommunication, Computers and Locker  facilities.

To enable ease of financial transactions the CFS also proposes to  have a Bank Counter on the premises. The CFS will overall strive to create a full fledged work environment, which is conducive to commercial transactions, as well as, create an atmosphere of comfort for every client.
